You ever throw a party and spend hours getting the house prepped, picking the right snacks and beverages, really getting that playlist down to perfection so people will groove and smile and good vibes will happen? And then you realize that everyone who showed up is an asshole, they're complaining about the food, they're spilling drinks on the floor, someone banged in your sister's room, and someone jacked on your pillow... AND someone told Dave about the party and you specifically told EVERYONE to not tell Dave, but he's here and he's pissing in your ice cube trays and deep throating your mom's vibrator in front of everyone?

So while everyone cheers when a song they like comes on, you walk up to the stereo, stop it, and put on something that YOU wanted to listen to. It's loud, it's mean, and it's awesome, and it drives everyone but Dave from the house, because he actually digs the music and you two, against all expectations, bond and form a friendship that ends up lasting for the rest of your lives. Dave isn't so bad, and you guys end up robbing banks and stealing car stereos all across the country until you're both killed in a hail of bullets, fired from a federal, multi-agency assault.

Where was I? Oh yeah, THIS is the music you put on that leads you down the path to excellence. This, the first proper back and forth between the MPC Maestro, the hartnäckiger Hase hisself, Stubborn Bunny and Portland's own sleepy graffiti aficionado, The Night Bench. You want hip hop? You got it! You want noise? Fuck yeah, you'll have it in spades! You want subterranean beats that sound like they're coming from your neighbor's apartment down the hallway? YOU! WILL! FIND! THEM! HERE!!!
